if some big ass black star is barrelling towards earth and the wealthy are scurrying underground as they set off some kind of kill switch, whats the point of taking some kind of medicine from someone i've never looked in the eye in the hope of surviving what sounds like hell on earth......

Hi Esme: Thank you for writing. The future is in no way run by psychopaths. God will reach down and change everything in the twinkling of an eye (1Cor. 15:51-55) at our darkest hour and test ... us ... all ... as tempered by fire.
Paul writes that the "destruction" comes "suddenly" while the world is clamoring for "Peace and Safety" (1Thes. 5:1-5), but after the faithful are "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air (1Thes. 4:13-18). The objective is to prepare physically (Survival Group Program) and spiritually (The Mystery Explained) to the best of our God-given abilities to be numbered among the "living."
My job is to wake up each day to help as many people as possible to then stand before Almighty God, His Son, and His Mighty Angels having won the race. Identify the threats, create the contingencies, and execute those plans on time, or not.
PS. Armageddon prophecies (Matt 24, Revelation, etc.) will be fulfilled in about 3600 years on the next Black Star orbit cycle. We are witnesses of how the Day of the Lord is about to begin. The entire world can crawl up into a little ball and cry for mommy if you wish, which makes the race easier me to win. well, its certainly interesting watching all the fun and games play out here on earth. so many stories, theories and many people recommending their medicines and products to get rid of this and cure that.

If you grew up with access to a religious person or teachings, or are one of those people that God 'spoke' to etc, then your resulting faith could save you because you were lucky enough to have these experiences.
What if you have always been kind but grew up in a less religious country, never knew anyone who was religious, have just started to read the bible and find it difficult to understand (remember it's much harder starting with zero knowledge) and desperately want to believe but it's going to be a HUGE leap from where you are.
The people in my first paragraph surely cannot have eternity by the flukes of growing up lucky?

The Lord God has shown me His wisdom using God's three witnesses of spirit, blood, and water for a multitude of reasons, as wisdom is vindicated by her deeds to the ages of the ages. A hundred people can look upon God's wisdom interwoven throughout my testimony and only one or two can see it, because God is very selective about who sees His stuff, being the Master at hiding the choicest nuggets right before the noses of men. After all, "few" are on the path to Life, while the "many" are on the wide-and-paved road to utter destruction. Matt. 7:13-14. Just hold on a little longer, because soon the faithful will stand together in great glory looking down on the toils of this life as a dream. The devil and his minions are about to be chained, so the Body of Christ can occupy those vacated heavenly positions and help Elijah in the restoration of all things. Great stuff.
