Terral and Josh Share Opposing Views in a Friendly Debate

Josh Monday and I shared our opposing views on the round-flat earth this morning at 5AM Pacific Time. Here is the link to the interview:

Thank you for writing. Yes. 7AM Central Time. I will be ready. Hey. If the world is flat, then why does the Sun come up just minutes before 7AM (6:52 AM) with 11 hours and 8 minutes of sunlight here in Harrison Arkansas, AND just before 7AM in San Francisco (6:51) two time zones away??? San Francisco will have 11 hours and 6 minutes of daylight. The Sun will up and shining in the sky here in Arkansas when our interview begins for me, but will not rise for another 2 hours in California, which is two time zones to the west. If our interview-debate lasts for 1 - 1.5 hours, the Sun will not be up yet in the sky above your house when we wrap things up. The case is the same for everyone in the world with the Sun coming up on an average of one hour later as the world turns and half the world is in the Sun and half is in the dark. 

The days are getting longer with each day and then nights are getting shorter for things to become near equal on March 21, 2024 (Harrison, San Francisco), which is the day of the Spring Equinox. The days continue to get longer and the nights shorter until July 4, 2024 (Harrison, San Francisco) at the Summer Solstice. However, the times are not exactly equal, because San Francisco is farther north on the globe and Earth is tipped over 23.5 degrees relative to the ecliptic plane. And, guess what? The sunrise time for New Delhi, India is 6:53AM local time.

There are 24 time zones (map) and the sun rises and sets one hour later going west for the whole world, because the world is a round rotating sphere with a circumference of approximately 24,000 miles (space.com) and rotating at about 1000 miles per hour.

Just take a globe of the world (like the one on my desk) into a dark room and position it at a 23.5 degree angle. Walk around the globe aiming a bright flashlight to simulate one 24-hour day and you will see the light and shadows falling in the precise fashion as the sunrise and sunset times for everyone in the world.
